I was forced into mediation in a family law case and was required to sign an agreement that included an NDA that was never explained to me.

I was asked to sign an NDA because my Solicitor said the case would not settle otherwise. The process was very quick in comparison to the preparation of my case,

I blew the whistle. One manager was dismissed and made to sign an NDA but he was replaced by one of his corrupt colleagues that was also involved in the fraud. The owner failed to investigate further. 

My husband worked in operations. He witnessed multiple unsafe working practices. He tried raising these internally in a report and safety walks but was ignored.

After reporting harassment, bullying, discrimination, and other human rights violations inside a federal agency, I was met with retaliation instead of accountability.

The NDA was a required part of the legal process, and I simply couldn’t afford to continue paying for legal representation.

 I was asked to sign an NDA because my Solicitor said the case would not settle otherwise.

I was discriminated against twice by my former employer on the ground of sex (pregnancy). I am a federal government worker and filed a grievance.
