I was asked to commit fraud on behalf of my boss and whistleblew.  I was very senior and at the start of my exciting career journey, when he asked me to do this, I was shocked.  He tried to block me and look stupid in front of the whole business and diminish my credibility.  He told me if I didn't do what he asked, he would lose everything as would the ceo in his personal and professional life, he swore at me on calls and was generally awful.  I whistleblew and it was the worst experience ever, the company were horrendous to me, I got a solicitor and in the end I signed an NDA and got a settlement , as they turned everyone against me. I was borderline PTSD and suffered with a Severe Adjustment Syndrome that I had to have psychotherapy for.  I was going to take it to a tribunal but I was so sick and they were trying to force me back into the office after I had been allowed to work from home by the Doctor and Occupational Health. My hair was falling out, I had heart palpitations, I couldn't sleep, it was hell and although I had the money for a tribunal I physically didn't know if I would cope.  I ended up leaving and am now having trouble getting a senior role after working so hard for my career as I can't disclose what I actually went through.
